I hope you and your companions had a good night’s rest I the cold, brisk air, and I am sorry I could not see more of you both.

If I could receive the enclosed within a few days, with probably just one more prominent member mentioned in the first paragraph, it would serve the purpose which we discussed last night. I am sure I still have a hard up-hill bit of travelling to do, and your help is very much appreciated.
