Dear Mr. Smith:
It is reported on what appears to be excellent authority that Dr. Beckers has acquired a two-mile strip of land from Mr. W. J. Knapp. The land in question is located in what is know as the Lake George Tract, and may be recorded at Fort Ann.
It is further reported that there is some kind of an agreement existing between these men and Commissioner MacDonald.
