- November 14, 1918 – JSA (Power and Mining Dept.) to Mr. L. F. Deming (District Engineer – Philadelphia Office)
Dear Mr. Deming:
You no doubt remember Mr. Tsukamoto, who for several years was in this department. He is now resident engineer of our Yokohama office and has come over for Mr. Gary to brush up on various engineering questions and to better prepare himself to increase General Electric sales in Japan.
The Turbine installation in the Philadelphia Electric, particularly the method of removing the ashes will be of interest to him and I might suggest you put him in touch with Mr. Harold Goodwin, who, I am sure will give him the attention he deserves, unless you consider some other arrangement more desirable.
Hoping you will find it convenient to give Mr. Tsukamoto this attention. I remain with best regards
Very truly yours,
JSApperson (Power and Mining Department)
