Dear Mr. Apperson:
Upon my investigation at the Washington County Clerk’s Office at Hudson Falls I find that no deed from Mr. W. J. Knapp to Dr. Beckers has been recorded. Dr. Beckers, as you doubtlessly know, does own lots 56, 57, 59, and 60 of the Lake George tract, containing approximately 1288 acres, which adjoin or are near the Knapp property, and were purchased by Dr. Beckers from Arthur Sherman and Georgianna P. Coolidge by deed dated Oct. 9, 1922.
I have not as yet been able to get up to Bolton but expect to either today or tomorrow and will see what I can find out in regard to the matters mentioned in your letter.
