Dear Mr. Rose:

I am trying to encourage a friend of mine to locate on Lake George and while I was particularly anxious to have him join me in my activities in the Narrows, due to the inaccessibility of the place, it may be necessary for me to sacrifice this feature of my effort and ask him to consider some of the places for sale on the west shore. If you are disposed to have you camp occupied or care to sell it, would you be kind enough to write me the best terms you feel free to offer?

With best regards,

Very truly yours,
