Dear Mr. Mattison:
In accordance with our telephone conversation of several days ago, I am enclosing a summons served on me today in connection with the collision between my car and the fire truck which took place last year. I hope it will be possible for you to handle this in such a manner as will bring the desired benefit to the public in reducing the hazard at this point and at the same time take as little of my time as possible. I am very much pressed at this time with other matters.
