Dear Commissioner:

I wish to express to you and Mr. Pettis my sincere appreciation of the valuable assistance given by Mr. Taylor and his crew in carrying out the American Canoe Association regatta held last week. Everyone seemed delighted with their experience and consider the dedication of their tablet commemorating the founding of their organization at Lake George in 1880, as a great success and I am in hopes that more of these enthusiastic outdoor men will visit Lake George as a result of this visit.

Cordially yours,

JSApperson
