Dear Mr. Hicks:

I have a young niece who has come all the way from Virginia for a few days skiing, and while she enjoyed her first lesson at Lake George, she has heard much of the Laurentians and Lake Placid and I am trying to arrange a short trip to both places this week-end.

I am planning to leave here Thursday night reaching Lake Placid early Friday morning, and would like to visit the Club for at least one day. Should you be overcrowded at this time of year and unable to accommodate us, please wire me at my expense.

Cordially yours,

JSApperson
