Dear Mr. Apperson:
Thank you for the clipping you mailed me some time ago. I referred this article to some of our other officers and now it seems to be lost.
The State Division of the Izaak Walton League of America have approved the Hewitt Amendment and at the last meeting of the new Advisory Council unanimous approval was also secured by that body.
There seemed to be some objections to the amendment originally which see to be pretty well corrected at the present time. If your organization is still opposed to the amendment I wonder if you would be so kind as to write me the reason for any existing opposition.
