February 10, 1930 – JSA to Mrs. Drake

  • February 10, 1930 – JSA to Mrs. Drake (wife of Commodore Drake) –

My dear Mrs. Drake:

I have just returned from a skiing trip in Canada and wish to thank you for your letter of the 29th assuring me of Commodore Drake’s sympathy with our effort to preserve the Paradise Bay land at Lake George.

It is very encouraging to know that Commodore Drake will ask Mr. Barr to cooperate and I will avail myself of the first opportunity to get in touch with him.

Hoping that both you and Mr. Drake are enjoying good health, I remain

Cordially yours,

J.S. Apperson
