Dear Mr. Smith:

After leaving my boat with you Sunday morning, I talked with several people who convinced me that I might better have my boat drawn out and take a chance on getting some other boat for the trips I might have to take between now and the freezing of the Lake. I therefore asked Mr. Hill to talk to you about it.

Until last summer my boat was covered by marine insurance and I have neglected to reinsure it, and I am wondering if you would take care of this for me. I am suggesting this since you no doubt have insurance on your boats and I would be glad to do whatever you recommend under the circumstances.

Cordially yours,
