  • December 26, 1929 – A. M. Dudley (Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing, Pittsburgh) to JSA –

My dear Mr. Apperson:

This will thank you for the beautiful picture of Lake George, which I found on my desk today. I am going to have this framed and hang it up in the living room where we can get the benefit of it all the time. It certainly puts one in proper tune with life to live with Lake George and its surroundings. Thank you very much for the picture and the kind thought which prompted it.

We hope sometime to have an opportunity of showing you what can be done in the way of mountain scenery even without much water, and if you will stop in Pittsburgh the first chance you have, we will do this.

I believe you are taking your annual holiday in Virginia, and I hope that you are having a very happy time renewing old acquaintances. Mrs. Dudley and Winston join me in wishing you a very Happy New Year and the fulfillment of your desires throughout.

Yours sincerely,

  1. M. Dudley Engineering Supervisor of Development
