My dear Mr. Richter:

Thank you for your letter of December 16th.

I enclose to you copy of letter which I have just sent to my friend, Mr. Rosenwald, which possibly may so dent his mind that he will remember it when the Hubert Fund comes up for his action, especially if Colonel Hartfield should jog his mind. It is quite possible that I shall have no answer before the New Year so it would be well for you to delay any further move until then, I should say.
