1925 – November 2 – John Apperson (3rd) to his uncle, John Apperson (2nd)

Dear Uncle John!

I would like very much for you to spend Christmas with us. I think that you will like very much to spend Christmas with us this year because [Ant] Nell, [Ant ] Doie [Georgia] and [Assie] [Nancy] are coming.

We had the fireplace fixed this summer and you can make roaring fires in it. We have some oak wood that will make a very hot fire. I think we will have snow by the time you get here. It was raining cats and dogs today.

Lovenly,
John
