My dear Mr. Apperson:
We were all disappointed when we received word you could not come to dinner with us on Christmas Day. Especially as we wanted to thank you for the book by Nelson Page for Mrs. Stevenson & the ankle braces for the children and the Engagement Diary which is indispensable to me.
I was deeply interested in the Greek quotations from our Lord, which you had carefully written in the front of it. They will make my texts for the year of 1904. If I can heed them it will be a blessed year.
Come and see us when you can and tell us of your Lake George trip.
