Dear Mr. Dudley:

I have read with much interest your letter of July 31st giving your vacation plans. I am very much pleased to learn that you and your family are spending the summer so close to Lake George and that you are also in touch with the men mentioned in your letter.

I have some very active work on conservation at Lake George and in the Adirondacks, which keeps me the jump, so one or two jumps more with you will not interfere, and I will look forward to having you and your family at my camp sometime in August.

Since I visit Lake George every week the year round, and sometimes during the week, it will not be necessary for us to have any very formal dates. I will look forward to having you and your family call on me when it suits your convenience. My camp is located on the west side of the lake, about 9 miles north of Lake George Village and ¼ mile south of the Algonquin Hotel.

Cordially yours,

J.S. Apperson
