- April 29, 1930 – JSA to Professor Cope (New York State College of Forestry)–
My dear Professor Cope:
Allow me to acknowledge and thank you for your letter of the 28th enclosing the January 1929 issue of the Journal of Forestry.
I have read Mr. Churchill’s article with much interest, and have ordered some copies. I will return your issue in a day or two.
It was a pleasure to meet you, and I hope you will visit our neighborhood again in the near future and that I will have another opportunity of talking with you.
Cordially yours,
JSApperson
