My dear Mr. Martin:

I have your letter of the 12th, and while the Legislature has adjourned, there are funds in the park bond issue which could be used, and a letter from you to the Governor, with a copy to Senator Thomas C. Brown, would no doubt help the effort now being made to encourage the Conservation Commission to utilize these available funds for the purpose. A number of individuals and organizations are now writing similar letters.

You might be interested in knowing that I made my first trip this season across the lake last Saturday. Your dock and camp looked to be in excellent condition, and I hope to find you and your family enjoying that neighborhood in the very near future.

Cordially yours,
