I am informed by Mr. Plant, Secretary of the New York State League of Savings and Loan Associations, that the legislature is to adjourn probably today or tomorrow, and therefore I have not gotten off my letter to Senator Brown or Governor Roosevelt as suggested in your letter of April 7th.

If you do not agree that there is no opportunity for passing the bill this year, kindly advise me and I will do whatever I can to meet your wishes.
