- January 26, 1928 – JSA to Theodore Van W. Anthony (Newburgh, N.Y.) –
Dear Mr. Anthony:
After reading your January 25th letter, I called up Mr. Bush, and he informed me that he had mailed you yesterday eight proxies. I hope they reach you in time to be helpful.
If you succeed in reducing the situation to simple and true democracy, it will no doubt reflect a great benefit to the organization, and justify the personal sacrifice you are making.
Cordially yours,
JSA
