April 24, 1925 – Ellwood M. Rabenold (Committee on Forest Policy for New York State) to JSA –
My dear Apperson:
Have you observed the memorandum of approval filed by the Governor with the Conservation Fund bill? In this memorandum he refers to the purchase of fish and game refuges and preserves, the improving of hunting and fishing generally, to the purchase of forest lands and the improvement of forest management, and then adds “When the first appropriations are made next year, this program should be carefully coordinated with the regional park program.”
Very sincerely,
Ellwood Rabenold
