Dear Mr. Agar:
You might like to read the attached copies of my letters to Greeley and Houghton. Mr. Houghton no doubt would be glad to show you a copy of his letter to me. What Mr. Houghton and I think of each other is of course irrelevant and immaterial, and since the Conservation Commission can carry on reforestation anywhere in the state without amending the Constitution, it is obvious that the proponents of the amendment are seeking other privileges.
I do hope your organization will analyze this subject fully and come out fearlessly against this attack on the Constitution.
